René has served on the boards of Alberta Forward and the Edmonton Ski Club and is the past Vice Chair of Kids Up Front Edmonton. He actively contributes to youth leadership initiatives in his community. Outside of work, he enjoys skiing, relaxing at the lake, and spending time with his wife and two daughters.
